The group rate is valid from 10 people. From 20 people you get 1 free place additionally.

Child rates apply to children born 2009-2017. Children born 2018 and after may ride free of charge.

Tickets will not be replaced.

There will be no ticket refunds for bad weather conditions, interruptions in operation or unused downward journeys. Tickets are non-transferable.

Terms and conditions apply as posted at the lower terminus. Parking lot fees for the Karwendel cable car will be refunded with the purchase of a ticket.

Biking in the Karwendel Mountains

The entire holiday region of Lake Achensee is connected by a dense network of biking trails. Ride along the lakeside and up the side valleys of the Karwendel Mountains, or try one of the designated bike routes running through the higher regions. No matter what you choose, satisfaction is guaranteed.

Bike enthusiasts will be thrilled by the holiday region of Lake Achensee: Here they will discover a great variety of both easy and challenging trails, covering a total of 172 km. Wonderful routes and bike paths around Lake Achensee encourage you to explore the area in and around the Karwendel Mountains on two wheels.

Via the forest road up the north side up to the top station. Don't miss to visit the Karwendel mountain hut. The descent is via the "Hörndlstraße (forest road from the Bärenbadalm hut) down in the Tristenau valley.

The transportation of bikes on the upward journey with a Karwendel cable car ticket to Mt Zwoelferkopf is free of charge. If you ride with the Lake Achensee adventure card, the transportation fee for any sports equipment is to pay extra.
